In preparation for our summer rains, the junior phase learners were treated to a Rain Day. Learners arrived at school fully prepared with their raincoats, umbrellas and gumboots. The children eased into the day with a rain story read by Mrs Johnson followed by a rain craft. The real fun started after snack, where the children rotated between a range of activities, which included science experiments, water pistol shooting, muddy play and of course testing their raincoats and umbrellas under the sprinklers. A thoroughly exciting morning and great start to our rainy season.
