It was an incredible treat to join our Grade Rs in celebrating their mom’s and dad’s and thanking them for being such an important part of our little one’s lives. For Mother’s Day, we welcomed many wonderful ladies to school for a high tea, where they were treated to a beautiful performance by the Grade R children. Together the children and their lovely moms made their own biscuits to bake and decorate. Later, they created a craft to show how special and loved they are using their hand prints.
For Father’s Day, we took the dads, stepdads and grandads to the sports field for a few Olympic-style events. The love, laughter and pure joy was beaming brighter than the sun. After the events, Grade R’s awarded dads with their special medals before enjoying a braai together.
