Human Movement, Co-Curricular and Swim School
From humble beginnings, Carlswald House Preparatory School now boasts a Physical Education and Co-Curricular Programme that rivals any of the older, more established schools in our catchment area. We boast a full range of sporting and cultural offerings that cater to all of our learner’s needs.
Our Physical Education Programme is one that is comprehensive and beneficial to our learners while never forgetting the fun element of what we are trying to achieve. It is our aim to create life-long participants in physical recreation to ensure health and well-being long after our learners have left our campus.
Our dedicated Physical Education Coaches ensure that our learners are nurtured, encouraged and develop at their own pace while pushing them out of their perceived comfort zone. All done with a smile on their faces and laughter in the air. That is the key to a great programme.
Our Sports Department offers a comprehensive range of activities for both Summer and Winter seasons. Our philosophy is one of “Participative Excellence”. This means that all of our learners are expected to participate in our Co-Curricular Programme but there is also scope for our talented sportsmen and women to grow and excel.
Our Cultural Programme is growing every day and this completes our Co-Curricular Triangle. It is our aim to enhance our learners in the physical, sporting and cultural spheres. We have created the platforms for our learners to grow, thrive and excel in becoming well-rounded individuals.
Our 345 Swim School, situated on our Carlswald campus, provides Learn to Swim tuition for all learners. Swimming within Carlswald House Preparatory School is seen not as a sport but as a critically important life skill. All learners, regardless of their age or grade, are encouraged to become confident, water-safe swimmers.
