ACADEMIC SUPPORT CLASSES

In order to support children who are encountering learning difficulties or struggle to complete work in the time provided, we offer after-school academic support lessons for all learning areas. These take place in the afternoons with dedicated teachers.

EMOTIONAL SUPPORT

We have a Play Therapist/Registered Counsellor that works on-site at Carlswald House Preparatory.

EXTERNAL THERAPISTS

We work closely with a company called The Care Junction to provide specialist therapies to those who need them. The Care junction provides us with an Occupational Therapist and a Speech and Language Therapist as often as it is required. They work out of the school’s therapy rooms, during the school day.

IN-CLASS SUPPORT RESOURCES

We have a number of resources within the classroom that assist children to support their sensory development, such as exercise balls, wiggle-bees, therabands and weighted buddies.
