Who ever said we can’t enjoy Sports Day during lockdown? Ensuring our annual favourite still continued, CHP hosted its first ever virtual Sports Day on the 1st of August. Trifid and Orion teams were given a host of exercises to complete, in the comfort of their own homes, ranging from push-ups to crunches, burpees, roman squats, wall stands and planks. Points were awarded on each child’s achievement per exercise. Although we couldn’t all be together, the spirit from the children as well as our ever supportive parents shone through. Ultimately Trifid stood out on the day, winning both the Spirit Award and the CHP Sports Award. A great achievement by all.
