📌 Important Updates

 

Uniform

All CHP children should be wearing the full winter uniform now. No summer uniform is permitted.

School Holiday

Monday 15th June is a School holiday.  School is closed.

Youth Day Public Holiday

Tuesday, 16th June is Youth Day, a public holiday and school is closed.  School re-opens on Wednesday, 17th June.

Grade R- Father’s Day Celebrations

Gr R Dads Save the Date- Friday 19th June. More details will follow.

 

CHP Junior Prep Sports Day—Gr R-3

CHP Junior Prep Sports Day will be held on Saturday 20th June.  This is a compulsory school day.  All Junior Prep children (Gr R-3) are to be at school at 8:00 am.

 

School Photos

GR R – 7 and 345- Sibling Photos: These will be taken on Tuesday 23rd  June.

Grade R-7 Class and Individual Photos: These will be on Wednesday  24th  June. Children must come to school dressed in their full Winter uniform (Gr R-3 must be dressed in their full tracksuits).  If they have PE on those days, they must wear their school uniform and bring their PE kit.  Senior Prep children must wear the full Winter uniform, including their tie and blazer.

Sports Photos- Gr 3-7: These will be taken on Thursday 25th June.  The children must carry their match kits to school.

 

Half Term Break

School closes on Friday 26th June at 1:30 pm.  Aftercare continues as usual on that day.  School re-opens on Monday 6th  July at 7:00 am.

All queries regarding the co-curricular programme as well as the Grade 1 and 2 Integrated Day, must be directed to our Head of Sport, Mr. Anthony Lord: lord.a@carlswaldhouse.co.za

 

Swimming 

345 Swim School: If you would like to enrol your child for swimming, please email Karen Visser: fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za

Fees are due by the 7th of the month. Late payments incur a R500 penalty fee.

Boys – Short and neat with no fashion styles

Girls – Tied back, plain accessories (Black/White/Red/Blue)

🛍 Uniform Shop

Open Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 12:00 pm. Wednesdays until 2:00 pm

We are launching the new Parent Portal – see login details below.  From Term 2 all communication will happen across this platform.

 

🔁 Weekly Reminders

  • Emails sent from Ed Admin are system generated. Please do not reply to these and rather direct all your emails to admin@carlswaldhouse.co.za
  • The school gate opens at 6:30am. No child may be dropped off before this time.
  • We require a months’ notice to cancel school services, aftercare, swimming, and the lunch programme
  • Tuckshop is every Friday. Children may bring money
  • Please ensure all uniform items are labelled and the correct uniform is worn
  • Lost property is located next to the Aftercare class
  • We are a NUT FREE school. No nut products are to be sent in
  • No cell phones may be brought to school
  • Please ensure all fees are paid on or before the 7th of the month. Please contact Karen Visser at fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za if you have any queries. Please ensure Debit Order permission forms have been completed.
