Although we couldn’t have a full Book Week this year, we were not going to miss out on an opportunity to acknowledge the role that reading plays in our daily lives. Book Day was spent celebrating the adventures that reading takes us on. The children and teachers dressed up as their favourite book characters and participated in a Book Day parade. The Grade 4’s presented the Book Day assembly, highlighting the different adventures and places a book can take you. Book Day, once again proved to be a day filled with fun, excitement and many pages being turned.
