Special Person’s Day – Thursday 19th February

Special Person’s Day is only for Grade R, 1, 2 and 3 children. Grandparents, Uncles, Aunts, Big Brothers or Sisters and Nannies are welcome as special persons. If the special person cannot make the day, parents are welcome to attend.  Invitations will be emailed closer to the time.

Mid Term Break

School closes on Thursday 19th  February at 11:00 am – Aftercare starts at 12:00 pm.  School re-opens on Tuesday 25th February at 7:00 am.

Parents Workshop

We are excited to invite you to join us on Saturday, 28th February, for a Parent Workshop morning. This event offers you a valuable opportunity to gain insight into the specific programmes and learning strategies your child utilises at school. By participating, you will receive valuable information, as well as tips and tricks that will empower you to better support your child’s learning journey at home.  More details will be emailed.

Car Park Manners

Car park manners and stop-and-go zone.  Please note that the roadside alongside the aftercare/ music block is strictly a stop-and-go zone.  If you need to get out of your car you will be blocking the flow and you should have parked in a parking bay!  A big concern is our children’s safety – if you have parked in that zone then they have to move between cars to get into the school – that is a risk to them.  I ask all parents to please respect this as everyone is trying hard to drop off and get back into traffic to get to work and I would hate your selfishness to be the reason for one of our little ones to come to harm!

School Identification Car Stickers

Entrance security.  We are in process of reviewing our security processes at the main entrance.  Within this term you will be issued with new security stickers for your vehicle – until such time please continue to use the issued ones. The new process is not to impede our parents coming in, but will have greater impact on visitors and transport vehicles.  In the meantime, please note that you may not show your security sticker as a digital image from your phone.  That defeats all security protocols entirely.

Diaries 2026

Only Gr R3-7.  Your child received their CHP homework diary. These diaries are very important and your child must bring them to school every day. Please take some time and look at your child’s diary, it has very important information about the school and the yearly planner with all the events and holidays for 2026. You must check the diary on a daily basis and sign it. You can write any communication to the teacher in the homework diary. If your child loses the diary, R100-00 will be charged to your account to replace the diary.
