CHP Concert Junior Prep Concert Gr R-3 and Gr 7

On Saturday 1^st August 2026, Carlswald House Preparatory will once again entertain you with our concert ‘CHP Presents: A Secret Life of Toys’. Rehearsals are currently underway, and we are all very excited for this magical day of music and dance. The concert will be held at the Urban Life Church in Crowthorne. This concert is for Gr R – Gr 3 children only and Gr 7. 

TICKETS ARE OFFICIALLY ON SALE AT RECEPTION

 

One Term Notice

Grade R-7 – If your child is not returning in 2027, please note we require a full term’s notice.  If we do not receive a term’s notice, you will be billed a term’s fees.  This notice must be given in writing on or before the 1^st  September 2026.

  

End of Winter Term Celebration

We will be hosting a Pyjama Day on the 7^th of August to celebrate the end of the Winter term and to welcome the August holidays.  Children will be allowed to wear their pyjamas and slippers to school. The cost will be R20 per child and they will receive a cup of hot chocolate and a cupcake. Please give the class teacher the money by Tuesday, 4^th  August.

 

End of Term 2

School closes on Friday  7^th  August at 11:00 am.  Please make the necessary transport arrangements to fetch your child between 11:00 am and 12:00 pm.  Aftercare will start at 12:00 pm as usual on that afternoon.

Start of Term 3

School re-opens for Term 3 on Wednesday 9^th  September at 7:00 am.

 

 Co-Curricular

All queries regarding the co-curricular programme as well as the Grade 1 and 2 Integrated Day, must be directed to our Head of Sport, Mr. Anthony Lord: lord.a@carlswaldhouse.co.za

 

Swimming 

345 Swim School: If you would like to enrol your child for swimming, please email Karen Visser: fees@carlswaldhouse.co.za

 

💳 Fees

Fees are due by the 7^th of the month. Late payments incur a R500 penalty fee.

Boys – Short and neat with no fashion styles

Girls – Tied back, plain accessories (Black/White/Red/Blue)

🛍 Uniform Shop

Open Monday – Friday, 7:30 am – 12:00 pm. Wednesdays until 2:00 pm

 

🔁 Weekly Reminders

• Emails sent from Ed Admin are system generated. Please do not reply to these and rather direct all your emails to admin@carlswaldhouse.co.za
• The school gate opens at 6:30am. No child may be dropped off before this time.
• We require a months’ notice to cancel school services, aftercare, swimming, and the lunch programme
• Tuckshop is every Friday. Children may bring money
• Please ensure all uniform items are labelled and the correct uniform is worn
• Lost property is located next to the Aftercare class
• We are a NUT FREE school. No nut products are to be sent in
• No cell phones may be brought to school
