Heritage Day was an awesome celebration of our diverse languages, cultures, gifts and talents! We enjoyed a variety of song, dance and musical items performed by many of our talented pupils and teachers. Icing South African flag biscuits was a fun and tasty way to learn about our national flag. A colourful array of traditional clothing was showcased at a ‘paparazzi parade’, where the children literally danced to the beat of their teachers’ drums! No celebration would be complete without food, which included amagwinya, rotis and boerewors rolls. The celebratory day ended with the rhythm of South Africa beating in our happy hearts!
