Grade 1’s 100th Day of School
The Grade 1s had an exciting day celebrating one of their school milestones – 100 days of school. They arrived at school in their best and very creative old lady and old man outfits. The day was filled with many engaging activities based around the number 100, which included creating beautiful crowns, medals and glasses. They thoroughly enjoyed the outdoor STEAM activities where they had to create structures with different types of materials that numbered up to 100. The icing on the cake for the Grade 1s was getting to ice and decorate their two biscuits, representing the two zeros in 100 and eating their lollipop that represented the one in 100.
