MARCH: It’s official… CHP turns 10!
And what better way to kickstart the year’s celebrations, than with a music festival. Learners were treated to musical performances by the Marimba band, our percussionists and the choir. CHP learners sat in awe as Mr Tagg recaptured how much our school has developed over these short 10 years and the numerous facilities that the children get to enjoy every day. Festivities ended off with a multitude of dance parties around the school where students and teachers got to show off their moves.
JUNE: CHP’s 10 Year Celebrations Continued…
CHP’s 10 year celebrations continued in June with the school’s first ever colour festival. Squeals of excitement filled the air as bright pops of colour filled the skies. What an epic way to end another great day of celebrations, which included a morning dance party and in-class decorating of crowns and 10 Year logos. Learners also donated R10 in coins which collectively built the number 10. All money collected was donated to the Brody Trust to buy warm blankets for those in need.
OCTOBER: Celebrations
With summer in full force, what better way to celebrate CHP’s 10th anniversary than with a Slip and Slide party! Learners enjoyed a fun-filled morning with their friends attempting their best sliding techniques and getting wet, wet, wet!
