Thank you to all our parents for supporting our Family Fun Afternoon and Movie Night. Everyone had a wonderful time. A big thank you to the fantastic staff of 345 and CHP for a successful afternoon.

Lunch Programme: The children are enjoying the snack and lunch that they receive daily. Lunch is optional for all Grade 1-7 learners. You can choose the lunch programme at an extra charge of R700-00 per month or you may pack your child’s own lunch. Please email Karen Visser email@example.com if you would like your child to be fed at school.
Please complete the Lunch Survey if you have not done so already.
Gr 1-7: Very Important If your child is not on the school lunch programme and you are packing their own lunch, please ensure that you pack enough lunch for your child. They will require a morning snack, lunch and an afternoon snack. NO sweets or fizzy drinks please!
Opening Times: No child may be brought to school or dropped off before 6:30am! The gates will remain closed.
Smart Watches: VERY IMPORTANT: Parents please note your child’s smart watch may NOT be used as a communication device at all during the day or be used as a distraction to the child or class. The school will also not be held responsible or liable if a smart watch goes missing.
Book Week: Monday 4th March- Friday 8th March Today is the start of Book Week. We have an exciting week ahead. The children will enjoy a variety of interesting activities during this week. Here are some reminders for the week ahead.
The Book People will be visiting on Monday 4th, Tuesday 5th and Wednesday 6th March.

5th March: 07h00 – 15h30
6th March: 07h00-15h30
Please visit this wonderful bookstore, they will be set-up in the IsiZulu classroom.
Book Character Dress Up: On Friday 8th March, all children are invited to dress up as their favourite book character.
Hooked on Books: On Friday 8th March, Hooked on Books will be performing at our school. Children will have the opportunity to buy the books that they have acted out after the show. The books range from R140 to R170. If you are interested in purchasing a book, please send the money to school in an envelope with your child’s name and grade on.
School Photos: GR R-7– Individual Photos and Sibling Photos will take place on Wednesday 13th March Children must come dressed in their full summer uniform. If they have PE on those days, they must wear their school uniform and carry their PE kit. Senior Prep children must bring their blazers.
Public Holiday: Human Rights Day Thursday 21st March- School is closed.
School Holiday: Friday 22nd March- School is closed. There is No holiday care on this day. School will re-open on Monday 25th March.

Tuesdays: 07h30 to 08h30 & 12h00 to 15h00
Diaries 2019: In January this year, each CHP learner received a homework diary. These diaries are very important and your child must bring them to school every day. The diary contains very important information about the school , including the yearly planner with all events and holidays for 2019. You must check the diary daily and sign it. If your child loses the diary, R100-00 will be charged to your account to replace the diary.
Aftercare: Aftercare operates from the close of day after co-curricular and supervised homework (15h00) until 17h30 and includes additional snacks. A penalty fee of R100-00 will apply for late collection of children after 17h30 and R200 for collection after 18h00. Homework: (14:00 – 15:00) Homework is only scheduled for 1 hour during the after school homework period and is supervised by teachers. If your child does not finish their homework in the time provided, they must complete their homework at home.
Accounts: Please ensure all fees are paid on or before the 7th of the month. Please note: If we do not receive your payment by the 7th of the month, a late fee penalty of R500 will be charged to your account if no prior payment arrangement has been made.
